Step 1:
Your Consultation
Your journey begins with a comprehensive, unhurried consultation directly with your surgeon. We will perform a series of advanced diagnostic scans and your surgeon will discuss your vision, your lifestyle, and your goals to determine the perfect treatment plan for you. There is no pressure and no obligation.
Step 2:
Your Personalised Treatment Plan
Based on your consultation, we will create your bespoke treatment plan. If you are considering a premium lens, this is where you and your surgeon will collaboratively decide on the best option to help you achieve your desired outcome.
Step 3:
Your Surgery Day
Your procedure will take place in the calm, professional environment of the surgical suite at the RVI. You’ll be made comfortable with local anaesthetic eye drops (no injections or general anaesthetic) and will be able to go home the very same day.
Step 4:
Your Recovery and a Brighter World
Your vision will begin to improve within a day or two. We will provide you with a clear guide to the first few days at home, including your eye drop schedule and a simple list of do’s and don’ts. Our clinical team is always on hand to answer any questions.
Step 5:
Your Aftercare with Your Surgeon
Your follow-up appointments are a crucial part of your care. Critically, you will see your own surgeon for these checks and they are provided at no additional cost. This ensures true continuity of care and is our commitment to you from start to finish.

Advanced Technology for Your Peace of Mind

The quality of our technology is matched only by the expertise of our surgeons. Operating out of the Royal Victoria Infirmary, we use the most advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment in the region. This technology isn’t a luxury; it’s the key to ensuring your procedure is as safe, precise, and predictable as possible.

The Diagnostic Suite

Before any treatment, we need a perfect map of your eyes. We use advanced scanners, including high-resolution OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), to see your eye’s structure in microscopic detail. This allows for incredibly precise measurements, ensuring your new lens is a perfect match.

The Surgical System

We perform our procedures using the Alcon Centurion® Vision System. This is the industry-leading technology for cataract surgery, allowing your surgeon to perform the procedure with unparalleled control and gentleness, which promotes a more comfortable experience and faster visual recovery.

Advanced Lens Technology

This investment in technology translates directly into patient benefits: enhanced safety, improved accuracy, more predictable outcomes, and the confidence that you are receiving the best possible care.

A Clearer World is Closer Than You Think

Understanding your options is the first step on a life-changing journey. If you have questions about our technology, our process, or how we can help you, our friendly team is here to provide the answers.
